Considered the best GS of all time by many, 1970 would be the introductory year of the 455 big block V8, a substantial upgrade from the 400 of the previous year. This '70 GS Convertible is equipped with the 455 along with functional Ram Air. This car showcases a professional nut & bolt restoration to high standards. The exterior is finished in its correct factory color of Bamboo Cream. Many of our photos were taken at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum, located only minutes from Texas Classic Cars of Dallas' showroom. 1970 would be a banner year for Buick. Considered to be the greatest Gran Sport, the big block 455 engine was introduced in 1970. This example is powered by the 455 along with factory Ram Air. The exterior chrome and paint work is top quality. The convertible top works as new and is in excellent condition as is the glass throughout this car. All weatherstrip seals were replaced during the extensive, no-expense spared restoration efforts. Excellent Buick Rally wheels are wrapped in B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A rubber all around. The Bamboo Cream colored finish is in excellent condition throughout. The chromework has been redone front to back. The wheel well and lower body moulding shows well throughout as do the chrome mirrors. The GS455 was Buick's gentleman muscle car of the era. The doors, hood, and trunk lid open and close correctly. The body and paint is excellent, showcasing the frame-off restoration. The trunk is clean and detailed, complete with the mat and spare tire/wheel. The door panels are clean and detailed. The driver's mirror is remote operated. The passenger's door panel is clean and detailed as well. Note all of the weatherstripping, window felts, etc. were replaced during the extensive restoration work on this exceptional Buick. The door undersides are clean and detailed. The door jambs are excellent. Open the door to 1970. This Buick showcase factory fresh interior inexcellent condition. The seats are equipped with head rests. The back seat is in excellent condition as are the seat belts, carpeting, and front seats. This is simply a beautiful classic '70 Buick GS455 Convertible ready to own, show, and enjoy. The factory AM/FM radio is accompanied by a factory tachometer, a testament to this cars true American Musclecar status. The center console & horseshoe shifter fits this well-accompaniedBuick perfectly. The convertible top and top frame is in excellent condition. This top features a glass rear window. The factory VIN plate is in place. This big block 455 c.i. engine was factory rated at 350 horsepower and 510 ft-lbs of torque. This car is also equipped with functional ram air. The engine compartment displays clean and detailed components throughout. The firewall, inner fenders, and core support are in excellent condition. You'll notice detailed fastners and replicated factory chalk markings throughout. This is a collector quality 1970 Buick GS455 Convertible. The Ram Air Assembly is functional, feeding fresh air to the 455 engine. The underbody is in excellent condition, showcasing clean and detailed flooring along with rebuilt suspension components.

Non Texas residents are responsible for paying taxes in his/her state. Overseas customers will be charged a $30.00 fee for wire transfers. We must collect a vehicle inventory tax of .002215% and a small documentary fee of $75.00 on ALL buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We can refer you to a number of national and international shippers. Once the vehicle leaves our dealership, we will take no further responsibility for the vehicle.
