We hope you enjoy this tour of the Chevelle above.

1971 is considered to be the last year of the true American muscle car for many enthusiasts. The SS option was now an equipment option instead of a stand-alone package. This Chevelle posesses many of the attributes and badging, but is not an original Super Sport.

This '71 Chevelle SS Tributeshowcases quality red metallic base/clearcoat paint throughout along with classic tan interior and the legendary 454 V8 paired with a TH400 Automatic Transmission. Enjoy our presentation and feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions.

An interesting fact for 1971 is the cowl induction hood was only available with the 454 c.i. option.

Lets go for a drive, enjoy the video below

Fly Low or Fly High, many of our photos of this classic '71 Super Sport were taken at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum, located only minutes from our showroom.

The doors, trunk, and hood open and close correctly. The body gaps show well. The power convertible top shows as new and performs as it should.

We have a convertible top boot as well.

The exterior displaysvery nice base/clearcoat paint work throughout with some minor flaws which you will notice in the close up of the SS badge. The custom red metallic hue is complimented by classic gold Super Sport striping.

Open the door to a 1971 muscle car. The interior features tan bucket seating along with the classic aircraft styled center console.

The dash displays theSuper Sportgauge cluster with tachometer and aftermarket AM/FM cassette stereo. Awood trim insertsurrounds the gauges.

The seat upholstery is in good condition throughout.

The 1971 Chevelle showcased a fresh design with single headlights in the front, similar to the Monte Carlo. Note the factory hood pins sans cables. The Super Sport boasted the SS center emblem along the brightbar and a blacked-out background.

Under the hood is this street-friendly 454 c.i. 4bbl. V8. This non-numbers matching engine runs out smooth. The engine compartment itself showcases original sheetmetal throughout the firewall, inner fenders, and core support. This was originally an air conditioned car, many of the major parts are there. An A/C compressor is included with the car.

The exhaust system breathes through factory iron manifolds to true duals with the correct chromed tips.

This car is optioned with the 12-bolt rear end. The flooring and frame shows excellent. The flooring is finish in red oxide primer. This is a detailed, clean underbody.

This classic Super Sport stance is thanks to the 15-inch SS wheels wrapped in Hercules H/P4000 225/70R15s all around.

Enjoy the remaining photos and again feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions.

The trunk is clean and complete with the mat, spare tire/SS wheel, and jacking equipment.

The door panels are both in good condition and the doors undersides are solid.
