MY wife just found a house she wants to buy so she is asking me to sell my car in order to buy it. We were supposed to build sometime in the future but the house of her dreams has become available this week. This 1968 factory hemi (J code) Road Runner has only 18,283 original miles. I have the original fender tag and build sheet. This listing is for the body only with almost everything else restored, replated, repainted or recovered. Most of the outside trim is NOS. Original color is black with a red interior, It is an automatic, bench seat, tach, Am radio, full cover turbine style hubcaps, manual steering and power brakes. I got this car with 100% original paint! The body is excellent with all original body panels. The lower 1/4 behind the drivers wheel below the body line was patched. On the driver side there was a small patch @4"x4" below the body line in back. The center of the trunk was also replaced @1' x1'. Everything elsewas/is perfect. Paint quality is excellent... everyone who sees this car in person seems to be impressed. Both front and rear suspensions have been rebuilt and are ready to go. Almost every sub assembly is ready to be installed into the car...... seats, dash, steering column, etc, etc. Included with the car is a rechromed hemi dual four air cleaner, the original and in excellent condition trans cooler, the hemi only power brake booster and the original 048 radiator with shroud. Also included are a restored driveshaft and rebuilt 727 automatic transmission. Essentially, the car needs reassembly. I have included some pics of the car and some of the sub assemblies.
