1966 Shelby Cobra 427 SC Recreation, This car is not your typical Cobra, as this one was built directly off the blueprints that Carol Shelby used to build the real one in 65,66,67. This car was fabricated bya self professed the best welder fabricator around TN. He was a heavy duty diesel mechanic who built this car over a 5 year period in his home shop from the ground up. He was trying to reproduce a copy of a real race shelby to keep for himself. But upon his completion of this car his plans changed and had decided to to sell the car, at which time I purchased it for myself. The direction of my life has changed and I am downsizing my collection of cars (50 down to 5or6 more manageable collection)

This car was built from the original blueprints as said earlier and has a true 1966 427 sideoiler with dual quads, attached to a top loader 4speed transmission, a corvette rear chunk was used in the build of this car as the builder thought that it would make a stronger 3rd member than the Dana 44's they normally used in the IRS builds of these cars, he finished the floors and all other parts with aluminum just like the original cars, with just the outer shell being comprised of fiberglass, which I belive was supplied by West Coast Cobras. The car has original type gauges, shifter, seats, battery. he really did a good job of keeping this car like the original race cars right down to the Good Year Road Slicks and original type Haldibran Wheels even the pedals come up thru the floor like the real deal he didnt use drop pedels like most do.. Its a real trip to drive runs great, drives great, and its fast. only one thing if your tall forget it. 5' 11 is max so keep that in mind unless you what to do sone refit work.

Or I’m willing to take it to Detroit Mi. Or Buffalo N.Y by trailer or under its own power to be shipped by your shipping company for the cost of the import broker and fuel. Or just come drive or trailer it home yourself, and its a piece of cake for yourself to import back into the USA. I can store till June or so in its current location free of charge, as long as it’s paid for. don’t know if I made it clear but this is a real nice Shelby Recreation to be proud of and drive anywhere.
