Well its time to pass the torch, and spring is right around the corner!! what better way to cruise through town than in a topless pickup? this vehicle is a 1926 studebaker roadster pick up. its a blast to drive and you get looks everywhere you go! but i live in a smaller town and everybody has seen it, haha that and im looking for another project so i will be interested in trades.
this truck started life out as a sedan, the top and back half were removed and replaced with an older chevy pickup box, which has been shortened to fit the frame. the original radiator is there, but not in use. it has a 302 SBF with a c4 automatic transmission. both run strong, it has a duel exhaust as well. as for the running gear it has a mustang II front end and a ford 8.8 in the rear out of a ford pinto and they do have the ford four bolt pattern wheels. this truck was well built but it does need some minor cosmetic work done on the hood, which is to be expected in an 85 year old vehicle, but the body is in great condition otherwise. there is no rust on this vehicle. it has the original dash and the original speedo, but the speedo is not hooked up, i was looking into getting itre-calibrated to mate up with the c4 but my attention and time have been elsewhere. there are modern gauges to show oil pressure, engine temp, and volt meter. it also has a tilt steering column.
